Making a Statement
Boy Scout Troop 524 outgrew their old troop trailer, as the troop had tripled in size from when it was first put into use. The need to purchase a new trailer was combined with the goal to create a unique and highly identifiable icon for the troop that would instantly be recognizable to the public.
Using my graphic design skills, I developed multiple iterations of potential graphics to be used for the new trailer. Working with TMG Twin Cities, we explored the multiple concepts and bounced ideas back-and-forth for a span on four months before choosing a final design concept.
This experience of working with TMG Twin Cities was my first experience of working collaboratively within the design realm. This project allowed me to expand my design skills and offered a glimpse into the graphic design profession.

Results
The design of the trailer has received nothing but high praise for its innovative design aesthetic from both members of the troop and the broader community. The trailer is now used as a showcase element by the troop to proudly display their values to the general community.
The final design, reflects the values of the organization as a outdoor adventure and youth leadership focused troop. The tag lines "Experiences that last a Lifetime" and "Prepared. For Life." reflect these goals. Simultaneously, the troop trailer compliments the overall graphic standards of the organization.
