Working with Pastor Fr. Jon Vander Ploeg and Business Administrator Rochelle Shirk, I assisted the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Newman Center at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities to update room B.  This was needed because the Young Adult & Graduate Student Group had been using the space for their biweekly gatherings, but the space lacked character.  Working with the parish staff I assisted with interior design options as well as the selection of products to enhance the space. I also helped the church coordinate volunteers  and fundraising to help oversee the project for the church. The room update included modern paint colors, adding window shades and upgrading the light fixtures to dimmable energy saving LED's.
