This project considered a way to better utilize a side chapel in the main church. This proposal adds two penitent confessionals on either side of the center compartment for the priest. The space was proposed to act both as a side chapel and a confessional waiting area. Mary Mother of Mercy was considered along with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and chapel themes. Ultimately, the Sacred Heart of Jesus was favored, as the penitents are coming to see forgiveness from Christ through the Priest and the Sacrament of Confession shows us God's mercy through Christ's Sacred Heart.
