CityScope
Working with the Northern Spark Art Festival my design team was given a site located within the Mill District along the Mississippi River to propose a festival installation piece. As a team we identified the unique qualities of the site, such as its placement in relation to the historic milling area..
CityScope included mechanical structures that featured imagery of the historic mills and created a new spatial experience in which to observe them. The central feature of the project is a prismatic structure that affords viewers a 360 degree view of the three structures as well as the actual mills beyond. The project saw between 7,000-10,000 active participants throughout the night and many more onlookers.
